Lecture & panel discussion with HBS Professor Clayton Christensen

Harvard Business School’s Christensen gave a special lecture & panel discussion at the C&C User Forum & iExpo 2015, jointly sponsored by JIN and NEC on 13 November, 2015.

About 3,000 people came to hear Professor Christensen speak on innovation at our special lecture. He shared his latest updates and development of the ideas from his seminal book ‘The Innovator’s Dilemma’ on how to foster disruptive innovation by realising the ‘job-to-be-done’ approach as the guiding principle of business development.

Over 300 delegates joined us for the panel discussion, moderated by Hiro Nishiguchi (Executive Managing Director, JIN).

On the panel, Clayton Christensen (Harvard Business School), Nobuhiro Endo (President, NEC), Hideaki Omiya (Chairman, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries), Yoko Ishikura (Hitotsubashi University), Hideyuki Tokuda (Keio University), and Noboru Konno (President, JIN) discussed how firms can build stronger organizational structures for innovation, enter into beneficial innovation collaborations and can create the right leadership for a continuously innovative organization.
